What is a private share link?

Password-protected links and which plans include them.

A public link lets anyone with the URL open the capture. A private link adds a password so only people you give the secret can view it.

Details

  • Where to set it. Use the share dialog on a capture or the project share flow.
  • Plan gating. Private and password options unlock on Professional and above in typical deployments.
  • Short links. Shared URLs may use a short form; viewers land on the same experience after any redirect.

Change or remove the password from the same share screen when a review round ends.
